Indigo Bananas Thursday

Good morning! I have a new-to-me brand to showcase today, Indigo Bananas! I have been eyeing her products for a while, I honestly can't tell you why I hadn't purchased any until now, each one of these polishes were stunning. The four polishes I was sent are ones that could be worn by themselves or layered for a whole other look, and I thought I would wear them both ways. Formula wise, they are great. Not too thick or thin, though I would recommend waiting a minute or two between coats if you are going for three layers.

Indigo Bananas 2% Butterscotch Ripple
Three coats
Plum jelly base with gold to green color shifting glitter
Love the name reference from Willy Wonka. And the polish color, it's so delicious looking.
Layering it over the creme Tom Ford base allows the glitter to pop.

Indigo Bananas 2% Butterscotch Ripple
Layered over Tom Ford Bitter Bitch

Indigo Bananas A Star to Sail By
Three coats
Clear base with gold, pink, pink to gold flakes and added holo micro-shimmer.
Beautiful! Only one word for it.
I love the warm tone to the look as well as the high impact reflective effect.

Indigo Bananas A Star to Sail By
Layered over Elevation Polish Sample XXH #5

Indigo Bananas We Are the Music Makers
Three coats
Teal jelly base with teal to blue to purple color shifting glitter and holo sparkle
Seriously gorgeous. I can't believe just how much it is, especially in person.
I really loved this one more by itself, I liked how it looks in the teal base rather than layered over a darker color.

Indigo Bananas We Are the Music Makers
Layered over Magnetic Freakin' Violet

Indigo Bananas Hot Ice Creams for Cold Days
Three coats
Fuchsia jelly holographic base with holographic glitter and violet color shifting shimmer.
BAM! In-your-face color and holo. As well as another name reference to Willy Wonka.

Indigo Bananas Cuticle Balm in Macaroon
I was asked if there was anything in particular I wanted to try and the cuticle balm was definitely my pick.
I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and really love this product!
I apply it each night after I remove my polish from the day. It absorbs quickly and is not too greasy, allowing me to type on my laptop, mess with my phone, generally go about my evening without worrying about greasy fingertips.
I like the Macaroon scent quite a bit, I believe that is one of her newer scents that will be releasing soon. It's a little sweet without being overwhelmingly so.
I don't use cuticle oils, I much prefer balms and lotions and was very impressed by Indigo Banana's balm, I would recommend it to anyone who was looking for something new to try out.

Indigo Bananas products can be purchased in her Etsy store here, as well as through Edgy Polish and Mei Mei's Signatures. Updates regarding the brand can be found on her Facebook page and website
